Legal Insight: mentoring meeting within the framework of the PROMENT project in court

On May 28, 2025, within the framework of the implementation of the international project 1010832696-PROMENT-ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE “Promoting professional education and students engagement through comprehensive mentoring and tutoring system at HEIs (PROMENT)”, a mentoring meeting of law students was held at the Mykolaiv District Administrative Court.

For the mentees, this visit was a continuation of a deeper immersion in the world of justice and strengthening of practical skills acquired during previous meetings.

Participants had the opportunity to attend a court hearing presided over by Judge Natalia Lisovska, which considered a current administrative case. Traditionally, the hearing was followed by a thorough discussion with the judge, during which all key aspects of the case were analyzed in detail.

The event was also attended by the President of the Court, Volodymyr Bionosenko, who shared his valuable experience and advice on the professional development of future lawyers.

The participants had the opportunity to analyze and combine theoretical knowledge from the disciplines “Judicial and Law Enforcement Bodies” and “Administrative Justice” with real practices, which became an extremely useful stage in their professional growth.

The visit was traditionally organized by the mentor, Candidate of Law, Head of the Department of Judicial Support and Analytical and Statistical Work, Maryna Kobak. Her expert support provided the participants with new guidelines for development.

This visit demonstrated the consistency and effectiveness of cooperation within the PROMENT project, contributing to a deeper understanding of the judicial system and increasing students’ interest in future professional activities.
