“Features of Leadership in Professional Activity”: about the meeting of mentor Anastasia Shulga with mentee Oleksiy Tsymbalenko within the framework of the PROMENT project


On June 23, 2025, another meeting was held on the topic “Features of Leadership in Professional Activity” within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ project 101082696-PROMENT “Promoting Professional Education and Active Participation of Students through the Formation of a Comprehensive System of Mentoring and Tutoring in Higher Education Institutions.”

The purpose of the meeting was to consider the concept of leadership in professional activities as the ability to direct, motivate, and influence others to achieve common goals.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that leadership requires certain qualities and skills, such as communication skills, the ability to make decisions, motivate, solve problems, and adapt to change.

The mentor also noted that effective leadership includes developing other qualities, including delegating authority and creating a positive work atmosphere.

During the meeting, the participants concluded that effective leadership in professional activities involves a combination of different skills and qualities aimed at achieving common goals, developing the team, and creating a positive working atmosphere.
