On December 7, the “Tutoring and mentoring at the university in the context of European experience” seminar was held at the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University as part of the dissemination of the results of the Erasmus+ KA2 PROMENT international project “Promotion of professional education and active participation of students through the establishment of a comprehensive system of mentoring and tutoring in higher education institutions” . The rector of Chernihiv Polytechnic University O.O. Novomlynets addressed the participants of the seminar with a welcome speech. The coordinator of the Erasmus+ KA2 PROMENT project from Chernihiv Polytechnic University Lyudmila Remnyova presented the project tasks and the newly developed project website. University lecturers G.A. Divnych, A.V. Verbytska, E.S. Bobryshev, V.M. Bazilevich, M.M. Zabashtanskyi, L.M. Remnyova, and T.M. Detsyuk, who participated in 2023 in study visits to the University of Perugia (Italy), Vienna Technical University (Austria), Silesian Polytechnic (Poland) and the University of Aveiro (Portugal), presented the learned experience of implementing tutoring and mentoring programs. These universities are partners of the PROMENT project consortium. The seminar was held in a mixed format, which made it possible to increase the number of participants, organize a question-and-answer session, as well as listen to valid suggestions on the possibilities of adapting European experience and its further development within the framework of the PROMENT project. We would like to thank all the teachers and students of higher education of Chernihiv Polytechnic University, the management of the Chernihiv IT cluster and the Center for Startups and Innovations “Peremoga” for their active participation in the event and constructive discussion of the raised problems of implementing tutoring and mentoring programs in higher educational institutions.
