Center for Tutoring and Mentoring is a structural unit of Lviv Polytechnic National University that ensures the development of students’ professional competence, social engagement, and active life position.

The mission of the Center is to create a supportive student environment within the University that fosters balanced student development, strengthens student interaction, encourages the formation of student networks, and develops soft skills and leadership qualities among participating students.

The main purpose of the Center is to provide support and assistance to University students in improving their academic performance, fostering an active civic position, and achieving high-quality personal and professional development in line with the needs of the labor market and civil society.

The key objectives of the Center are:

  • to provide students with support and resources that help them achieve academic success;
  • to assist students in defining career goals, provide guidance on choosing a field of study and pathways to achieving career goals (including mentoring from HR professionals, development of job search skills, interview preparation and performance, etc.), and support career development;
  • to support students in developing personal skills that contribute to psychological and social well-being (including counseling and training in leadership, communication, and conflict resolution, as well as psychological support);
  • to provide specialized support and facilitate adaptation to university life for specific groups of students (e.g., international students, students with special educational needs, students with disabilities, internally displaced students, and veteran students, among others).
