The first stage of piloting tutoring and mentoring schemes within the project is approaching its completion, so on December 20, 2024, the final pitching based on the results of the first stage of piloting mentoring and tutoring schemes was held at the Lviv Polytechnic National University. This was an important event in summing up, where the results and achievements of the program were presented. The event was organized within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ 101082696-PROMENT “Promoting professional education and students  engagement through comprehensive mentoring and tutoring at HEIs”.

During this period, we took a significant step in developing student support by opening the Tutoring and Mentoring Center at Lviv Polytechnic. Within the framework of the center’s activities, three pilot schemes were launched:

Professional mentoring – providing support to students in professional development and career planning.

Mentoring for IDPs and other relocated students – facilitating their adaptation to the educational process and new environment.

First-year student tutoring– assistance in a successful start of studies and integration into the academic community.

The final pitching became a platform for exchanging experiences, analyzing achievements and challenges, as well as planning the next steps in the project’s development. The most active and effective tutors were awarded certificates for their contribution to the implementation of student support programs.

We are grateful to all project participants, tutors and mentors who joined the initiative, and we continue to work on improving the mentoring and tutoring system. New stages of development lie ahead, and we are confident that with joint efforts we will be able to create an even more effective student support system!
