On October 27, 2025, as part of the university career guidance event “Vacations at the University”, which was held for senior students of the ZZSO of Mykolaiv, teachers of the Department of\u00a0<\/span>Ukrainian Philology and Intercultural Communication, Kosareva G.S. and Ponomarenko S.S. together with student mentees<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0presented the specialty\u00a0<\/span>“Philology (Ukrainian Language and Literature)”<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0in an interesting interactive format, combining it with the activities of the mentoring program “Mentoring of Young Teachers”. This scheme is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ project (Promoting professional education and students’ engagement through comprehensive mentoring and tutoring system at HEIs). The event was organized with the support\u00a0<\/span>of the Education Department of the Mykolaiv City Council\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The aim of this initiative is to support the professional development of young teachers and popularize philological education among high school students.<\/span><\/strong>
The event is designed to encourage students to choose a philological and pedagogical path, demonstrate the possibilities of modern university education, and establish interaction between future applicants, students, and teachers.<\/span><\/p>

On the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language,\u00a0<\/span>the key event was the Radio Dictation of National Unity<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>as a symbol of unity and love for the Ukrainian word. Students felt like they were part of a large educational community united by language.<\/span><\/p>

The participants of the event took part in a series of workshops on philological courses. Mentors under the program “Mentoring of Young Teachers”, Halyna Kosaryeva and Viktoriya Ageeva-Karashadze, as well as Serhiy Ponomarenko, associate professor of the Department of\u00a0<\/span>Ukrainian Philology and Intercultural Communication,<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0together with student mentees interacted with the participants of the meeting through practical cases. It should be noted that the event was actively attended by philological students of group 246 and student mentee, Karbolen Danylo, who acted as a co-trainer for the first time.<\/span><\/p>

The interactive format of cases from Ukrainian literature: \u201cWho am I?\u201d, \u201cWhat kind of Pokemon is this?\u201d, \u201cGuess the work by the emoji\u201d contributed to a deeper assimilation and interpretation of the works read, and to students\u2019 understanding of the role of literature in everyday life. Trainer Kosareva G.S. also interestingly integrated elements of media literacy and critical thinking during the event through the exercises \u201cMy Media Field\u201d, \u201cNorm or Stream?\u201d. The final stage was exciting movement exercises and reflection.<\/span><\/p>

The event ended with vivid impressions from the students, sincere words of gratitude. The participants shared positive feedback, noting the creativity of the philological masters and the warm atmosphere of interaction.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
