The Center for Professional Development, Mentoring and Tutoring of Dnipro University of Technology is a structural unit of the National Technical University “Dnipro University of Technology”, directly subordinated to the Rector of the University. The Center was established as one of the components of the internal quality assurance system of higher education to implement the state policy on staff development in educational institutions, the Development Strategy of Dnipro University of Technology, the Strategic Development Plan of Dnipro University of Technology, the Internationalization Strategy of Dnipro University of Technology, and the Strategic Development Plan of Dnipro University of Technology, as well as to implement the work packages of the PROMENT Project, funded under the European Union Erasmus+ Programme in accordance with Grant Agreement No. 101082696.

The purpose of the Center’s activities:
To ensure the continuous professional development of the staff of Dnipro University of Technology through:

• implementing the concept of an individual career development trajectory for employees;
• continuously improving the quality of teaching through the introduction of the most effective teaching methods, approaches, tools, and instruments;
• implementing the concepts of mentoring and tutoring in a higher education institution as the basis for developing a system of effective interaction between leading professionals and higher education students;
• training higher education teachers and business professionals in the methods, approaches, and tools of mentoring and tutoring support.
